REMEDY welcome NEW DRUMMER,
Phil Bell!
It is with a sad farewell that Remedy say goodbye to their drummer Mark Dodds, who will be leaving the band from October 2009. Mark, who was one of the orginal founding members and has played in the band for over 4years is giving up the position of 'stick-man' to spend more time with his family.

Remedy now welcome new-comer, Phil Bell, into the position, a difficult space to fill, but one he is tackling with both skill and passion!

The band are now concentrating on writing new songs for their first full length album, for release in the new year -  we will continue to gig locally only for the time-being.

Thank you for your continued support, and see you soon with a whole new repetoire of fantastic songs!

- METAL HAMMER

"This six-track EP certainly underlines the fact that the young quartet have the right attitude, commitment and sheer musical nous to make an impact." - CLASSIC ROCK MAGAZINE

REMEDY FOR HARD ROCK HELL III

Whether you've heard of the Hard Rock Hell festival or not, this year, get involved with the line-up selection and vote Remedy to play!!

The festival would be a great opportunity for Remedy as you never know who might be watching! (Including some of your good selves!)

Whilst we're not the heaviest of band for this event, they have acts on from 12noon to 4am - so there's got to be a spot for Remedy somewhere in there!

Please show your support and encouragement and vote for Remedy at this years HRH III - sign in and have your say!
We've done a little post in the 'Unsigned Sanctuary', but there's other mentions of us scattered through the forum, probably best to just search 'remedy' and leave your comment where you feel appropriate.

Much appreciated to those of you who've already done your bit! Cheerz ;p

STRANGE FAST NOW IS HERE!

New EP available to download from February 3rd 2009!!!

RemedyCover.jpg

STRANGE FAST NOW is a breakthrough EP, which aims to bring back rock as an 'event' – a statement backed by their ‘all-or-nothing’ live performances. STRANGE FAST NOW combines the greatest rock influences from the 60's, 70's and 80's and mixes them with the band’s favourites from today’s generation to produce a balanced sound that's fresh and yet somehow wizened.

Summed up, STRANGE FAST NOW is a lure. We tried to create an EP of singles to show that we’re not about a one-hit-wonder and a load of fillers. We like to try and show a variant of styles and consistency – 6 tracks that are hard hitting and won’t fail to grab your attention.

The EP was recorded at Blast Studios in Newcastle – it’s an amazing place for inspiring song writing and we we’re lucky to have gotten the time in there. The songs were mixed and engineered by Adam Sinclair, a young genius on the desk, then co-produced by Adam and guitarist Graham Haswell.

STRANGE FAST NOW Track Listing:
1. LAST DEMAND

2. DESIRE

3. LEARN TO SPEAK

4. MIDNIGHT TIL MORNING

5. PRIESTS & PREACHERS

6. SACRED DEEP INSIDE
